When we see a product that combines function, form and cool- we generally have to have it.  These pouches fit the bill!

The creation of an ex-military man and  slingshot enthusiast, they really came about by happenstance as he was making a beer Coozie out of paracord.  Here is the story….

“I've been playing around with paracord since I was in the USAF during desert storm.  A lot of the guys would make up a bracelet with some desert camo cord and use a button off of their "chocolate chip" desert fatigues to close it.  I got the guys that worked in the cargo parachute shop to show me how to do the running sennit knot that I use for lanyards, because I didn't like having to unhitch all those individual knots in a normal king cobra knot. Anyway, I modified that into the adjustable lanyards for slingshots about a year ago, so I had some cord on hand.  And yes, I did make the first pouch as a beer Coozie, and it worked, but ended up just sitting around in the house till the wife got tired of moving it, and told me to take it out to my shop.  So, it got tossed on the drafting table next to my boxes of bearings until I happened to look at it and was struck with an errant thought.  "Gee, I wonder if .........."  And the rest, as they say, was history. “ -James Skeen, Lone Star Slingshots

And sure enough, James was really on to something.  The pouches will hold about 1 pound of ½” steel ammo and 1.5 pounds of comparable lead ammo, on average and depending on size- plenty enough to keep ready for shooting anywhere you might go.  What’s more, the bags are a readily available supply of paracord with each one supplying up to 25’ of top quality paracord.  The weave is tight enough to hold all but the smallest shot(1/4” will come out) and the quality of the construction is second to none.  What’s more, if you ever need to take the bag apart in a survival situation, James will trade you another pouch for the story.
