What makes a FlippinOut Slingshot unique? Nearly everything! From the careful attention placed on “Positive Hand Placement™” to the Signature FlippinOut Tear Drop Palm Swell™, every detail of a FlippinOut Slingshot has a purpose.
The most difficult thing to accommodate in a good slingshot design is across the board shootablility, meaning a slingshot that fits almost anyone. The key design elements in a truly accurate slingshot come down to a few simple, but fundamental principles:
1. The slingshot must “feel” good in your hand. To create this “feel” Nathan Masters has taken his lifetime of experience working with human ergonomics to the drawing board. The Flippinout Slingshot offers a truly ambidextrous hand placement that not only allows a single frame to fit many, but is balanced with the physical limitations of the human hand. The finger grooves provided on the fork arm, combined with the Flippinout Tear Drop Palm Swell™ create the perfect platform to allow a multitude of hand sizes and shapes to work well.
2. The slingshot must be pleasing to the touch and to the eye. Regardless of the utter ridiculousness of this statement, if the slingshot does not strike the user with a sense that it will not only shoot well but feel good, then it is likely that it will not be fully enjoyed.
3. The slingshot must be imbued with a sense of quality that begs the end user to strive for perfection. A simple natural can certainly be shot accurately, but a slingshot that was built from the ground up by a shooter for a shooter contains within it a “call” to extract every bit of skill and precision from the shooter while at the same time honoring the inherent strength given by the craftsman.
4. Finally, it must simply call upon your inner marksman to strive for nothing less than the bullseye-whether it be paper or the perfect head shot!
